Moroccan community and tourism see growth in Canada

Montreal hosted the inaugural Gala de l’Excellence Marocaine in Canada, an event organized by the media platform Made in Morocco MTL. The ceremony aimed to honor entrepreneurs, creators, and professionals from the Moroccan diaspora to highlight their contributions to Canadian society.

Eight laureates received awards across four categories: Leadership, Innovation, Community Impact, and Arts & Culture. Rachid Seghrouchni, deputy head of mission at the Moroccan Embassy in Ottawa, attended the event, noting the importance of strengthening ties between Moroccans living abroad and their country of origin.
