Moroccan Royal gifts delivered to shrines in El Jadida and Sidi Benour
A royal committee has delivered royal gifts to several Zawiyas (religious brotherhoods) and shrines in the El Jadida and Sidi Benour provinces. This initiative marks the 28th anniversary of the passing of King Hassan II.
The gifts were distributed to the Moulay Abdallah Amghar shrine and the Moulay Bouchaib El Raddad shrine in El Jadida, as well as the Sidi Abdelaziz Ben Yafou Zawiya in Sidi Benour. The committee was led by Saad Eddine Smiaj, a chargé d'affaires at the Royal Chancery.
The religious ceremonies were attended by local officials, including the Governor of El Jadida, Sidi Saleh Daha, and the Governor of Sidi Benour, Mounir Houari, alongside local authorities and religious leaders. The events included Quranic recitations and prophetic praises, honoring the legacy of King Hassan II and his role in modernizing Morocco.
