Moroccan royal gift distributions to religious shrines
Overview
To commemorate the 28th anniversary of the passing of King Hassan II, a royal committee has been delivering gifts to various religious brotherhoods (Zawiyas) and shrines across Morocco.
In late August, the committee distributed gifts to the Moulay Abdallah Amghar and Moulay Bouchaib El Raddad shrines in El Jadida, as well as the Sidi Abdelaziz Ben Yafou Zawiya in Sidi Benour. These ceremonies, attended by local governors and religious leaders, included Quranic recitations and prophetic praises.
Following these events, the initiative extended to the Al Haouz province in early September. The committee oversaw the delivery of gifts to the Amghari descendants of the Moulay Abdallah bin Ahsain Zawiya in Temsloحت and the Moulay Brahim Zawiya in Tahannaout. Similar religious ceremonies and local official attendance were reported during these distributions.
