Moroccan SME Confederation urges Fatima Zahra Mansouri to enact 13 priority demands
The Moroccan Confederation of Very Small, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (VSEs/SMEs) has called on the newly appointed Head of Government, Fatima Zahra Mansouri, to transform 13 priority demands into concrete government commitments.
In a statement released on October 6, 2026, the Confederation emphasized that the formation of a new government presents an opportunity to move from electoral promises to an implementation phase. The group highlighted that SMEs and self-employed workers constitute more than 98 percent of Morocco's business fabric and play a vital role in job creation and social stability.
The Confederation urged the government to integrate these demands into the upcoming 2027 finance bill and the broader government program. They requested horizontal coordination across various ministries, the allocation of necessary financial resources, and the establishment of clear indicators to measure progress. The group aims to establish a permanent, institutionalized dialogue with the new administration to foster trust among millions of formal and informal small businesses.
