Morocco airports handle 22 million passengers in first seven months of 2026

Moroccan airports handled over 22.2 million passengers during the first seven months of 2026, marking an 8.77% increase compared to the same period in 2025. According to data from the National Airports Office (ONDA), international traffic rose by 8.82% to nearly 19.9 million travelers, while domestic traffic grew by 8.36% to approximately 2.39 million.

Casablanca Mohammed V Airport remains the country's primary aviation hub, recording nearly 6.95 million passengers. It is followed by Marrakech-Menara Airport with 6.4 million passengers, Agadir-Al Massira with 2.18 million, Tangier Ibn Battouta with 1.71 million, and Rabat-Salé with 1.45 million.

Europe continues to be the dominant market, accounting for over 16.5 million passengers. Other significant growth areas include South America (+34.21%), North America (+14.54%), and Africa (+13.74%). Conversely, traffic with the Middle East and Far East saw a decline of 4.12%. Air cargo also experienced growth, increasing by 12.61% to reach 66,980.55 tons.
