Morocco Court of Accounts sets 90-day deadline for election campaign filings
The Moroccan Court of Accounts has instructed all candidates for the House of Representatives elections to submit their campaign finance accounts within 90 days of the final results announcement for the September 23, 2026, vote.
According to the Court, these filings must include a detailed statement of funding sources and an itemized list of election expenses, in accordance with Article 95 of Organic Law No. 27.11 and Article 147 of the Constitution. The process requires a dual submission method: an electronic filing via a dedicated digital platform and a physical submission of signed paper documents, including bank statements and proof of candidacy, to the Court of Accounts or the relevant Regional Court of Accounts.
Candidates must use the official digital portal to enter data regarding their candidacy and electoral district, print and sign the electronic version, and then schedule an appointment to deliver the physical supporting documentation.
