Morocco Expands Digital Partnerships with Vertiv and Local Tech‑Judicial Alliance

Morocco’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform signed a memorandum of understanding in Rabat with global digital‑infrastructure firm Vertiv. The agreement, signed by Minister Delegate Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni and Vertiv Africa Managing Director Wojtek Piorko, aims to support the Kingdom’s Morocco Digital 2030 strategy and AI Made in Morocco roadmap by providing expertise for data‑center power, cooling and cloud infrastructure, including a planned 50‑megawatt sovereign data centre.

In a separate initiative, the federation of ICT firms APEBI and the Association of Digital‑Law Practitioners APDND signed a strategic partnership to promote digital trust and compliance across Moroccan businesses. The alliance will combine APEBI’s deployment capabilities with APDND’s legal expertise to help companies, especially SMEs, meet security and data‑protection standards. “Digital trust must not be a privilege reserved for large companies,” said APEBI President Rachid Ressani.
