Morocco mining projects advance with copper and titanium developments

Critical Mineral Resources PLC is targeting October 2026 for the publication of its maiden JORC Mineral Resource Estimate at the Agadir Melloul copper project in Morocco. The company has appointed Addison Mining Services to prepare the estimate, which will primarily cover Zone 1 North based on drilling data from 2025 and 2026. The initial estimate is expected to represent only 5% to 6% of the existing permit area.

Separately, Steadright Critical Minerals has commenced preparatory infrastructure work for a pilot plant at its Titan Beach titanium project in Morocco. Construction at the Beach One block is being managed by a state-owned engineering and construction group under a framework cooperation agreement. This arrangement covers planning, design, and operations, meaning Steadright and its Moroccan subsidiary are not required to contribute further to exploration or production costs for this phase.
