Morocco ranks among top 10 destinations for Belgian tourists in 2025

Morocco has ranked among the top ten preferred travel destinations for Belgian tourists in 2025, according to the latest data from the Belgian statistical office, Statbel. The Kingdom secured sixth place among foreign destinations for total trips, with approximately 700,000 journeys, and tenth place for purely tourist trips, totaling 335,000.

Morocco stands out as the highest-ranked non-European destination in the classification, surpassing the United Kingdom, Portugal, Austria, and Greece. In terms of total travel, Morocco followed France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Germany.

The influx of travelers generated 14.9 million overnight stays and 706 million euros in total expenditure. Specifically, tourist-focused trips accounted for 6.405 million overnight stays and 375 million euros in revenue.
