Morocco Saturday heat and scattered rain forecast

The Moroccan meteorological service predicts hot weather across the kingdom on Saturday, with daytime temperatures reaching 30‑36 °C in most regions and night‑time lows between 16‑20 °C in the Atlas and coastal areas. Scattered light rain showers and occasional thunderstorms are expected, especially near the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, as low clouds and fog develop overnight.

Wind gusts will be moderate to locally strong over the Atlas highlands, northern plains and southern zones, sometimes carrying sand. Sea conditions will be calm in the Mediterranean, while the Atlantic coast will see light to moderate choppiness, becoming rougher between Safi and Sidi Ifni.

The forecast covers the valleys of Moulouya, Saïss, the Tanger region, the northern and central Atlantic plains, the western plains, the Souss area, the southeastern interior and the eastern desert zones.
