Mortora community expresses grief over Don Rito's transfer

Luigi De Maio has expressed the profound disappointment of the Mortora community following the decision to transfer Don Rito to Capri. After nine years of service in Mortora, the priest's departure has left a significant emotional void.

De Maio, speaking as a prior, noted that while the decision may have its reasons, it causes human suffering and threatens to dismantle the community relations and sense of belonging that Don Rito helped build. He emphasized that the issue is not with the incoming priest, Don Carmine Sorrentino, but rather with the human cost of interrupting a long-standing spiritual and communal path.
