Ukrainian drones strike Moscow region, killing 7 and injuring dozens, while Wildberries warehouses burn
More than 400 Ukrainian drones were launched toward the Moscow region overnight, most of them intercepted by Russian air defences; 85 were destroyed as they approached the capital. The attacks hit logistics hubs of the Russian e‑commerce giant Wildberries, setting fire to its large warehouses in Elektrostal (near Moscow) and Kotovsk (Tambov region). The strikes killed at least seven warehouse workers and wounded over 60 people. An oil depot in Noginsk also caught fire. In the Belgorod border region, a drone hit a passenger bus in Shebekino, killing five civilians, including four women and a child, and injuring 23 others. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the raids were a response to Russian missile attacks on Ukrainian cities. Russian officials reported additional injuries in Domodedovo and noted fires at industrial sites. The coordinated drone campaign underscores Ukraine’s deep‑strike capability and its focus on Russian logistical and energy infrastructure.
