Moses Simon earns 100th cap in Nigeria victory over Madagascar

Moses Simon earned his 100th cap for the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, during a 2-1 comeback victory against Madagascar in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match. The milestone took place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Simon becomes only the fifth Nigerian player to reach the century mark, joining Ahmed Musa, Vincent Enyeama, Joseph Yobo, and Alex Iwobi. Since his debut in 2015, the winger has scored 12 international goals.

The match featured notable performances from other players, including debutants George Ilenikhena, who scored the equalizer, and Moses Usor, who secured the win with a solo goal in the 65th minute. The Nigeria Football Federation honored Simon with a commemorative frame to celebrate his longevity and dedication to the national team.
