Spanish police dismantle drug operations and investigate poisoning

Spanish law enforcement agencies have conducted several operations targeting drug trafficking and public health concerns. In Montmell i Querol, the Mossos d'Esquadra dismantled three indoor marijuana plantations, arresting three men aged 24, 29, and 35. Authorities seized 1,751 plants in various growth stages and discovered fraudulent electricity connections used to power the facilities.

In Huete, the Guardia Civil intercepted a vehicle on the A-3 highway, leading to the arrest of two individuals. Officers found approximately 103 grams of marijuana and 5 grams of 'tusi' (pink cocaine), along with scales and packaging materials used for distribution.

In Seu d'Urgell, police are investigating a potential food poisoning incident involving a group of young people at a local restaurant. After consuming pizza, several individuals required medical attention. Initial medical tests suggested the presence of a narcotic substance, prompting an investigation into potential crimes against public health and injury. The restaurant was temporarily closed for inspection but has since reopened, denying any involvement with illicit substances.
