Mostar and Zagreb announce upcoming cultural and musical programming

The City of Mostar has issued a public call for musical performers for the “Advent in Mostar” festivities and the outdoor New Year 2027 celebrations. The call is open to musicians from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and abroad who have experience in public performances. Proposals must include musical programs or concerts for the open advent stage with a minimum duration of 120 minutes. Applications must be submitted electronically by October 20, 2026.

In Croatia, the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb has announced its 2026/2027 season. Following a previous season that drew approximately 10,000 visitors, the academy aims to increase accessibility through a diverse program of operas, symphonic and chamber concerts, jazz orchestras, and organ festivals. The upcoming season includes 17 concerts at the Blagoje Beres Concert Hall, two performances by the Symphony Orchestra at Lisinski, and an opera project in collaboration with the Croatian National Theatre (HNK) that is scheduled to tour Portugal.
