Mostar kindergartens hold humanitarian Bread Days
The Mostar Kindergarten Institution held its annual Bread Days, a series of activities designed to teach young children gratitude, solidarity, and the importance of helping others. The event concluded on Monday with a traditional humanitarian sale held at the Lenin Promenade.
Director Danijela Kegelj stated that the initiative aims to foster values of community and sharing. This year, the proceeds from the sale will support the “Minores” Association and its “Snack for All” project, which assists students, as well as the “Light of Hope” Foundation, which is working to build a house for oncology patients.
Educators noted that the event involves parents and children working together to prepare various products for sale. The initiative is intended to build children's self-confidence and awareness of social values through active participation in charitable acts.
