Mostar to host first HerzOliveFest olive oil festival

The Hercegovačka udruga uljara i maslinara (HUUM) is organizing the first HerzOliveFest, titled ‘Zlatne kapi Hercegovine’. The event will take place on August 21 and 22 at the Romanca restaurant in Mostar.

The festival will feature exhibitions and tastings of extra virgin olive oils, presentations of local producers, and displays of olive-based cosmetic products and wooden souvenirs. Guided tastings will be led by members of the official organoleptic assessment panel.

The program includes panels discussing strategic development directions for olive growing and oil production in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as international discussions regarding the Eastern Adriatic as a sustainable hub for premium olive oil. The event is held under the patronage of Borjana Krišto, President of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
