Mostar trial: DNA evidence links Anis Kalajdžić to Aldina Jahić murder
During the ongoing trial of Anis Kalajdžić at the Cantonal Court in Mostar, forensic experts presented DNA evidence regarding the murder of Aldina Jahić. Biological analysis confirmed that blood and hair found on the handgun used in the crime belong to the victim.
Furthermore, DNA traces from Aldina Jahić were identified on several items of clothing and footwear belonging to the defendant, including his sneakers, laces, jacket, undershirt, socks, and t-shirt. Some samples contained mixed DNA from both the victim and the accused.
An IT expert testified that while mobile phones belonging to both parties were analyzed, the victim's Xiaomi device was too technically damaged to undergo forensic examination. The prosecution has announced it will present audio and video recordings at the next hearing scheduled for September 10.
