Moto Guzzi unveils The Trip 500 roadster
Moto Guzzi has announced The Trip 500, a new mid-capacity roadster designed to expand the brand's reach to new riders, including those with A2 licenses. Departing from its traditional transverse V-twin architecture, the new model features a parallel-twin engine producing approximately 48 hp (35 kW), likely derived from the Aprilia 457 platform.
The motorcycle is designed for accessibility and daily use, weighing 180 kg in running order with a seat height starting at 790 mm. It includes modern technology such as a 3.6-inch circular TFT display with smartphone connectivity, ride-by-wire throttle, and three riding modes: Road, Sport, and Rain. Additional accessories include pictogram navigation and a quickshifter.
Styling blends classic elements, such as a metal 15-litre fuel tank and embroidered branding, with contemporary features like a Full LED headlight that incorporates the brand's eagle motif. The model will be available in three colors—Black Metropolis, Green Grove, and Red Beat—alongside a special ‘The Opening’ series. The bike is scheduled for a global debut at EICMA 2026 in Milan, with dealership arrivals expected in early 2027.
