Motor’s goals were scored by Ordoš (11') and Koláček (33'), while Dukla’s tally came from Cachnín (30', 36') and Harkabus (35'). The game, attended by 1,971 spectators, saw Motor miss both of its power‑play opportunities and fail to equalise in overtime.

Coach Robert Petrovický described the performance as a solid start to the preparation period, noting reduced nervousness and good team movement despite some inaccuracies.
