Motorcycle accidents in Czech Republic and Japan cause serious injury and viral attention

A 30‑year‑old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a head and upper‑limb trauma after his Kawasaki collided with a Hyundai car on the II/477 road between Řepiště and Vratimov in the Czech Republic. He was air‑lifted to the urgent care unit of the Faculty Hospital in Ostrava. Police said the 19‑year‑old driver of the car was not under the influence and the incident is under investigation.

In Japan, a woman riding a motorcycle entered a railway crossing in the wrong direction, collided with an oncoming car and was thrown onto the car’s roof, where she remained seated as the driver exited. The crash caused no visible injuries, the rider received a 500‑CZK fine, and the damage was estimated at over 100,000 CZK. The unusual footage quickly spread on social media, drawing hundreds of comments and shares.
