Motorcycle accidents reported in Genoa and Bergamo
A series of serious motorcycle accidents has been reported across different regions in Italy.
In Genoa, 42-year-old Francesco Carrieri died after losing control of his scooter in the Dinegro underpass. Investigators are looking into whether the cause was a sudden medical emergency or a mechanical failure, noting that road conditions appeared normal.
In the Bergamo area, two separate incidents involving motorcyclists occurred recently. In Pontida, a 42-year-old man was critically injured after colliding with a white Ypsilon. In Via Zanica, a 40-year-old motorcyclist was also hospitalized in serious condition following a collision with a Citroen C3. This second incident occurred near the site of a previous fatal accident involving a 10-year-old child earlier in the month.
