Motorcyclist killed in fatal accident on B 241 near Goslar

A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on Friday near Goslar on the B 241 federal highway. Around 12:45 p.m., a motorcyclist traveling from Auerhahn toward Goslar lost control while navigating a left-hand curve near the Glockenberg curve.

The rider veered off the road to the right, collided with a guardrail, and was thrown into a ditch. The individual, identified in reports as being approximately 31 to 32 years old, sustained severe injuries and died at the scene.

Police from the Goslar inspection have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. The B 241 was temporarily closed to facilitate the investigation and recovery efforts, causing significant disruptions on the route between Goslar and the Upper Harz, but the closure has since been lifted.
