Motorola expands Moto Buds ecosystem to iPhone users
Motorola has released its official Moto Buds application for iOS, allowing iPhone users to access advanced features for the Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 Plus models. Previously limited primarily to Android, the app enables users to configure active noise cancellation, select equalization profiles, and customize touch controls for music playback and voice assistants.
To utilize these features on an iPhone, users must first perform a firmware update on the earbuds using an Android device with the Moto Buds app installed. Once updated, the earbuds can be paired with an iPhone and managed through the iOS application. The hardware features acoustic calibration technology branded as ‘Sound by Bose’ and includes design options such as Swarovski crystal details on specific models.
The Moto Buds 2 Plus, priced at approximately $149, features a classic stem design, Pantone-certified colors, and integrated AI functions. While positioned competitively against flagship models from brands like Sony and Apple, the series emphasizes comfort and solid construction.
