Motorola launches Moto Buds app for iPhone users

Motorola has released its Moto Buds application on the iOS App Store, allowing iPhone users to access advanced customization features for compatible wireless earbuds. Previously, connecting these devices to Apple hardware via Bluetooth limited functionality to basic audio playback and calls.

The app enables users to manage active noise cancellation, transparency modes, and equalization profiles. It also provides control over touch gestures, dual connection settings, and in-ear detection. Supported models include the Moto Buds 2, Moto Buds 2 Fusion, and Moto Buds 2 Plus.

To use the application on iOS, users must first update the earbuds' firmware using an Android device. Specifically, Moto Buds 2 Plus require firmware version v17200 or higher, while Moto Buds 2 require version v10.74 or later.
