Motycz pedestrian road completed to boost local safety
On July 14, 2023, officials in Lublin County officially handed over a reconstruction project in the village of Motycz. The works, overseen by Konrad Banach, a county board member, and Paweł Pikula, director of the County Roads Board, rebuilt county road 2229L to include a modern 230‑meter pedestrian pathway. The new infrastructure features upgraded access ramps, drainage systems to prevent flooding, and new signage to improve visibility.
The project was executed by BUDO‑DROG Piotr Chłódy and cost 228,920.05 zloty. Local residents are expected to benefit from reduced accident risk and easier movement within the community.
