Mouhamed Mokhtar Samb joins Kiiraay to run for Passy mayor

Mouhamed Mokhtar Samb, coordinator of the ‘Passy Nouvelle Vision’ (PNV) movement, has announced his decision to join the Kiiraay party. Samb, also known as ‘Ameth Samb’, has declared his intention to run for mayor of the Passy commune in the Foundiougne department.

An economist by training, Samb holds a degree in Economic Analysis and Policy from Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) and a professional master's in International Commercial Policy and Negotiations. His professional background includes serving as the coordinator of the Management Control Unit and a project manager at the Ministry of Urbanism, Local Authorities and Territorial Planning. He previously held the position of head of the Administrative and Financial Division for the General Directorate of Living Environment and Public Hygiene.

Through his alignment with Kiiraay, Samb aims to expand the party's presence across the various neighborhoods and sectors of Passy. His political platform focuses on local development issues, including infrastructure, youth employment, health, and transparency.
