Movimento 5 Stelle holds regional rallies to promote Nova program

The Movimento 5 Stelle (M5S) is conducting a series of territorial meetings across Italy to strengthen its local networks and present its programmatic platform, known as ‘Nova’.

In Liguria, the party held a three-day tour from October 16 to 18, visiting five locations: Lavagna, Genova, Bordighera, Finale Ligure, and La Spezia. These assemblies aimed to encourage grassroots participation and define a political identity that serves as an alternative to current government policies. The movement's national president, Giuseppe Conte, is credited with defining the party's political direction.

Simultaneously, in the Campania region, the party organized rallies in several municipalities, including Sorrento, Battipaglia, and Maddaloni, to present the twenty programmatic points resulting from the Nova process. Salvatore Micillo stated that the program was developed through the involvement of over 17,000 people and thousands of working groups nationwide. The key focus areas for the proposed alliance include labor, rights, the environment, public health, and education.
