m:tel concludes phase of road safety campaign

The telecommunications company m:tel is concluding a phase of its social responsibility campaign, ‘Leave your phone while driving!’. Although the official advertising phase involving billboards, posters, and media slots will soon transition to other topics, the company emphasizes that the core message of the initiative has no expiration date.

The campaign aims to address the critical issue of driver distraction. According to statistics from the Agency for Road Safety, approximately 25 percent of traffic accidents are caused by driver inattention and distraction, which in the modern era most frequently takes the form of mobile device usage. m:tel has maintained this advocacy for over a decade, focusing on encouraging drivers to place phones in seats or bags before starting a vehicle to ensure safety.
