Muhammad Sohail Afridi leads PTI street movement rallies across Sindh

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi is leading a multi-day street mobilization campaign across Sindh in support of Imran Khan. During rallies in regions including Shikarpur, Shahdadkot, Larkana, Naushehro Feroze, Nawabshah, and Mirpurkhas, Afridi claimed that the public response demonstrates a significant shift in the province's political landscape.

Afridi asserted that the overwhelming enthusiasm for the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) challenges the long-standing narrative that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) maintains a political monopoly over Sindh. He stated that the era of dynastic politics is ending and that the people have rejected the idea of Sindh being a political fiefdom for specific families.

The movement serves as a precursor to a planned Long March on September 27, which organizers intend to use to assert political rights and defend fundamental freedoms. Afridi also criticized the state for what he described as the unjust imprisonment of Imran Khan and the repression of PTI workers and family members.
