MultiChoice refreshes DStv and GOtv packages in Nigeria

MultiChoice is restructuring its DStv and GOtv offerings in Nigeria to provide subscribers with more personalized viewing options. The company plans to introduce refreshed packages designed around specific entertainment preferences, with further details expected in the coming weeks.

As part of this evolution, the company is consolidating its movie offerings. Starting September 17, 2026, the previous four-channel M-Net Movies structure will be replaced by three new channels: M-Net Movies+, M-Net Stars, and M-Net Legends. This change aims to reduce repeat screenings and provide easier access to a mix of international and local blockbuster and curated content.

Additionally, DStv is expanding its channel lineup with the introduction of SuperSport Kick-Off, a channel dedicated to football programming, and France 24, which will provide international news and analysis with a focus on African affairs.
