Several tragic incidents have been reported in Guatemala and Ecuador involving multiple fatalities.
In Guatemala, a fatal road accident resulted in the deaths of a mother and her young son. Emergency responders were unable to save the victims due to the severity of their injuries. The National Civil Police secured the scene while the Public Ministry prepared for legal proceedings.
In a separate incident in the Jutiapa department of Guatemala, a man discovered his wife and two children dead inside their home in the El Rodeo sector. Preliminary reports from rescue teams suggested signs of asphyxiation, though official investigations by the Public Ministry and the National Institute of Forensic Sciences are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances.
