Multiple Gun Attacks Kill or Wound Victims in Mexican Cities
A series of shootings occurred in three Mexican cities. In Hermosillo, Sonora, a man was shot dead inside a construction site in the Nueva Ilusión neighborhood on Wednesday night, around 19:40. Two men in their thirties were seriously wounded by gunfire in the Carolina neighborhood of Cuernavaca, Morelos on Thursday afternoon, after an alleged traffic altercation. In Guadalupe, Nuevo León, a young man identified as Abner, aged 20‑25, was pursued and shot dead by armed assailants in a van in the Valle Soleado neighborhood on Wednesday night.
Local authorities in each case secured the scenes, collected ballistic evidence and opened investigations. No suspects have been apprehended and motives remain unclear.
