Multiple highway collisions result in fatality and injuries in US

Multiple vehicle accidents involving highways in Missouri and Minnesota have resulted in one fatality and several injuries.

In Minnesota, a 42-year-old woman, Aja Katherine St Peter, died following a crash on Highway 169 southwest of Mankato. A Chevy C20 pickup lost a tire and rolled into the median. The driver, 42-year-old Justin Steven St Peter, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities noted that neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt, though alcohol was not a factor.

In Missouri, two separate incidents were reported in Andrew County. On Highway 169 near Cosby, a two-vehicle collision occurred when a Kia Forte making a left turn was struck by a Ford F-350. A passenger in the Kia sustained moderate injuries, while the driver sustained minor injuries. Both were transported to Mosaic in St. Joseph.

Additionally, a two-truck crash occurred on Interstate 29 in Andrew County. A Freightliner traveling southbound exited the ramp, went down an embankment, and struck a northbound International truck. The Freightliner driver, a 58-year-old man, was injured and transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment.
