Multiple road incidents reported in France

Several traffic incidents were reported across different regions of France during the weekend of October 10-11, 2026.

On the A13 motorway, a vehicle was reported driving against the flow of traffic for approximately 70 kilometers. The alerts, issued by Bison Futé, tracked the vehicle's progression from Grand-Couronne in Seine-Maritime, through the Eure department, and ending near Mantes-la-Ville in Yvelines. One witness reported seeing a vehicle, identified as a Citroën C4, traveling at an estimated speed of over 150 km/h.

In the Manche department, two separate accidents occurred on Sunday morning. The first collision took place on the RN13 near Montebourg in the direction of Cherbourg-Paris, leaving a vehicle immobilized on the shoulder. A second accident was reported on the RN174 at the Coutances-Agneaux interchange near Agneaux. Authorities have advised motorists to exercise increased caution in these areas.
