Various traffic incidents were reported across different regions of France during October 2026.

On the weekend of October 10-11, a vehicle was reported driving against the flow of traffic for approximately 70 kilometers on the A13 motorway, traveling at an estimated speed of over 150 km/h. Additionally, two separate accidents occurred in the Manche department on the RN13 and RN174.

On October 25, a head-on collision on the RN 57 in La Cluse-et-Mijoux involving two light vehicles resulted in six injuries, including four adolescents. In the Le Havre metropolitan area, a collision occurred on the D6382 after a driver slowed to avoid an animal; police determined the second driver was operating under the influence with a blood alcohol level of 1.4 g/L.
