Multiple traffic accidents in Turkey leave several injured

A collision in Batman's Akyürek neighbourhood occurred when a motorcyclist failed to see a turning car and struck it from behind. The rider was thrown onto the road, seriously injured and taken to hospital. Police opened an investigation to determine fault.

In Elazığ province, two separate road crashes injured a total of seven people. One accident near Yarımca involved a car that lost steering control, hit a curb and rolled over, injuring five occupants. The second crash at the Karagedik ramp saw a vehicle leave the roadway and enter a field, injuring two people. Emergency services and police responded to both sites, and the victims were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
