Multiple traffic accidents reported in various French regions

Several traffic accidents occurred in various French regions between October 3 and October 5, 2026, resulting in multiple injuries.

In Guignen, Ille-et-Vilaine, a head-on collision between a car and a utility vehicle on the RD 48 left a woman in her fifties seriously injured. Emergency responders had to extricate her from the vehicle before transporting her to the CHU de Rennes. The driver of the utility vehicle also sustained injuries.

In Héric, Loire-Atlantique, a high-kinetic collision between a car and a motorcycle on the RD16 left a 23-year-old motorcyclist in critical condition. He was transported to the CHU de Nantes, while the 22-year-old female driver sustained minor injuries.

In Gueltas, Morbihan, a 70-year-old driver, reportedly blinded by the sun, struck a 71-year-old cyclist. The cyclist was evacuated to a hospital following the impact, reporting shoulder pain.
