Rock in Rio 2026 features diverse international musical performances

The Rock in Rio 2026 festival featured a diverse lineup of international and domestic artists. British singer Lola Young delivered an emotional performance on the Palco Mundo, marking her first appearance in Brazil following a hiatus for mental health. She spoke about the power of live music in the age of AI and described the Brazilian audience as the best of her life.

Halsey also performed on the Palco Mundo, maintaining a high-energy set despite recently facing health issues. Her repertoire included hits from 'Badlands' and 'If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power'. Other notable performances included K-pop artist Hwasa, who became the first solo K-pop act to perform at the festival, and the British folk-rock band Mumford & Sons, who closed the Sunset Stage.

Additional highlights included the American duo Twenty One Pilots, who performed in rainy conditions to close the festival, and Brazilian singer Badi Assad, who celebrated 35 years of her career with her 'TRANSFORMA' show. The seven-day event hosted over 120 attractions, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Cidade do Rock.
