Munich Valentin‑Karlstadt Museum Reopens After Two‑Year Renovation

The Valentin‑Karlstadt Museum in Munich has reopened its doors following a nearly two‑year closure for extensive renovation work. The revival features a new permanent exhibition titled “Liesl Karlstadt – Flight to the Moon,” dedicated to Karl Valentin’s long‑time stage partner. The reopening program includes cabaret performances by Luise Kinseher, Teresa Reichl and Christian Springer, with actors Bele Turba and Johann Anzenberger portraying Karlstadt and Valentin. The museum, housed in the Isartor tower, now displays a refreshed collection of Valentin’s comedic inventions and stage artifacts for visitors.
