Municipal Council Approves 66,000‑Euro Renovation of Rodari School Gym in Italy

The municipal council voted on 4 August to fund an additional €66,000 for the ongoing renovation of the Rodari school gym. The amendment expands the scope of work beyond the original energy‑efficiency upgrades, adding external corridor refurbishment, a new roof canopy linking to the primary school, external thermal insulation, façade restoration, sewer system upgrades, sub‑soil remediation, a wooden floor replacement, and the installation of air‑source heat pumps with ceiling destratifiers.

The aim is to complete the project to a high standard, improve functionality, and enhance the appearance of the entire school complex, including ancillary structures that have not been updated for years.
