Municipalities implement LED lighting upgrades in Argentina and Spain

Municipalities in Argentina and Spain are implementing urban lighting modernization projects to improve energy efficiency and public safety.

In Concepción del Uruguay, Argentina, the local government has invested over 76 million pesos to install 74 new LED columns along Avenida Rodríguez Artusi. This project covers more than 3 kilometers and is part of a broader strategic plan to replace sodium lamps with LED technology and expand the lighting network in various neighborhoods, including San Isidro and San Vicente.

In Crevillet, Spain, Mayor Germán Beardo announced the commencement of lighting renovations on Avenida del Ejército. The project utilizes Basic S Lat LED luminaires to enhance the commercial area's image and reduce municipal electricity consumption. The upgrades follow previous improvements to paving and signaling and are intended to support local commerce during upcoming community events.
