Municipalities in Argentina and Cuba Launch Staff Training Programs

The municipality of Trenque Lauquen in Argentina began a workshop called “En Primera Línea” to improve public‑service skills of its front‑line employees, emphasizing respectful interaction, clear communication and a culture of service. Municipal officials highlighted the goal of building trust with residents and establishing standards against mistreatment of both staff and citizens.

In San Antonio de Arredondo, Cuba, municipal workers attended a practical training session on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid. Led by health professionals, the course aimed to equip staff with rapid‑response techniques for emergencies in the workplace and public spaces, strengthening overall community safety.
