Municipalities in Argentina and Mexico recognize emergency responders

In Fontana, Argentina, the local municipality has launched a training cycle for the Municipal Emergency Operations Center (COEM). The initial session, led by Fire Chief Eduardo Giménez, focused on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid, the use of personal protective equipment, and basic equipment management to improve emergency response coordination.

In Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, the municipal government introduced a new recognition program for police officers and firefighters. For the first time, the municipality included Civil Protection and Firefighters in its monthly stimulus scheme. Jesús Roberto Hernández Soto was named Firefighter of the Month, while Alejandro Mayo Márquez and Natanael Rodríguez Bravo were recognized as Police Officers of the Month for their service and dedication.
