Municipalities in Brazil launch new educational support initiatives
Municipal education departments in Brazil are implementing new initiatives to support educators and improve learning outcomes.
In Atibaia, the Secretariat of Education held the “Café com Prosinha: Práticas que Brilham!” pedagogical meeting. The event gathered approximately 200 professionals, including directors, coordinators, and teachers from the municipal early childhood education network. The program focused on sharing pedagogical experiences using the “Coleção Prosinha” teaching materials to foster creative and intentional classroom activities.
In Taquara, the municipal government launched the “Educa Mais #Taquara” project in partnership with the Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (TCE-RS). This initiative aims to strengthen educational management and learning results through monitoring, training, and mentorship. The project will cover 42 schools and the AABB Comunidade, with activities scheduled to continue through 2027.
