Municipalities in Chiapas advance public works and infrastructure projects

Municipal governments in Chiapas are advancing various public works projects focused on infrastructure, mobility, and sanitation.

In La Cruz, Mayor Sergio Luis Olvera is overseeing several developments, including a hydraulic concrete paving project on Victoriano Alcántar Street in Colonia Panamericana. This initiative involves an investment of over 10 million pesos and includes sewage, potable water, and drainage systems. Additionally, a project in Estación La Cruz is underway with an investment of approximately 5 million pesos. The municipality also recently completed the asphalt paving of Joaquín Ortega Street in Colonia Panamericana, a project costing over 1 million pesos.

In San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Mayor Fabiola Ricci Diestel has launched construction for sanitary drainage lines and hydraulic concrete paving on Fresno, Durango, and Buganvilia streets in the Santa Cruz El Pinar community. These works aim to improve local mobility and living conditions through coordinated efforts between the local government and community leaders.
