Municipalities in Croatia and Bosnia secure infrastructure funding

Municipalities in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are receiving funding for various infrastructure and public safety projects.

In Croatia, the municipalities of Blato and Smokvica will receive funding through the Integrated Territorial Program for Islands to construct new fire stations for their volunteer fire departments. The project in Blato will also include new space for the Vincenza Association. State Secretary Zrinka Raguž and other officials delivered the funding decisions, noting that the new facilities will include garages for fire vehicles, office spaces, and training areas to enhance local safety.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Municipality of Velika Kladuša has signed an agreement with the Una-Sana Canton (USK) government for capital grants totaling 450,000 KM. These funds are earmarked for several road modernization projects, the first phase of a new fire station, and public lighting installations. Additionally, the municipality was allocated 89,040 KM for ecological water disinfection equipment and further funds for technical documentation regarding urban parks and road reconstruction.
