Municipalities in Mato Grosso do Sul implement administrative changes

Municipal governments in Mato Grosso do Sul are implementing new administrative measures. In Dourados, the city has established the Institutional Public Power Group (GIPP) to improve the management of social interest housing projects. Coordinated by the Municipal Social Interest Housing Agency (Agehab/Dourados), the group integrates various municipal secretariats and state institutions, including the Military and Civil Police, to address infrastructure, security, health, and education needs within housing communities.

In Eldorado, the local administration has introduced temporary austerity measures to balance the municipal budget. Under a decree signed by Mayor Fabiana Maria Lorenci, the city is reducing work hours to a schedule of 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and suspending various gratifications, including overtime, special condition bonuses, and representation payments. These measures, which do not apply to essential services or result in base salary reductions, are set to remain in effect until December 31.
