Municipalities in Peru and Spain upgrade public lighting infrastructure

In Peru, ENOSA has installed 88 LED luminaires in the Canchaque district to upgrade public lighting. The project, carried out between July 23 and 25, involved replacing sodium vapor and low-power LED equipment with modern 55 and 94-watt LED units. The upgrade aims to improve safety for pedestrians and drivers while supporting religious and cultural activities, specifically during the festivities of the Virgin of Carmen.

In Spain, the Estepona City Council is implementing a plan to install 465 new luminaires in the outskirts of the municipality. This project involves an investment of over 560,000 euros and includes the installation of 325 solar-powered street lights across nine roads. The solar technology allows for lighting in dispersed areas without the need for traditional electrical grid connections, reducing energy consumption and minimizing the environmental impact of construction on rural paths.
