Municipalities in Spain and Denmark allocate funds to renovate local parks

The municipality of Calpha (Denmark) has approved a €114,829 investment to remodel the Arco Íris park. The project will replace the existing pavement with new ceramic tiles, install a new multi‑playground structure with slides, climbing zones and safety surfacing, and add a steel spring and a tipi‑style carousel. Work is scheduled to begin in September and will be completed within six weeks.

In Elche (Spain), the city council will resume works on the garden beds of the Parque Municipal Jardín Nieves Berenguer on Obispo Barrachina. A contract worth €160,325 has been awarded to Obras y Servicios P. Selva S.L. to replace 26 damaged garden beds over 440 metres, using reinforced concrete walls and drainage slabs, and to repair the existing irrigation system. The works are expected to finish by the last week of August.
